Three new junior associates to Diplomat

Shannon Li O’Sullivan, Agnes Selnes and Axel Vide join as junior associates as part of Diplomat Communications’ trainee program 2024/2025.

Shannon Li O’Sullivan holds a Master’s degree in Business and Development Studies from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economy and Society from Lund University. She has previously interned at the Embassy of Sweden in Singapore and the NGO WaterAid in Stockholm. Shannon has also worked at Maersk alongside her studies in Copenhagen.

Agnes Selnes has a Master’s degree in Global Studies from Lund University and a Bachelor’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Umeå University. Previously, she has worked as an intern at the EU Delegation to the UN in Geneva as well as the Embassy of Sweden in Jordan. Agnes has also served as President of the Umeå Association of International Affairs.

Axel Vide holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Uppsala University, where he completed his thesis on Corporate and Securities Markets Law. Before joining Diplomat, he interned at the Minsitry of Climate and Enterprise, focusing on environmental assessment. During his studies, Axel also worked at SEB’s legal department.

Dipomat Communications annually recruits up to three university graduates, who are interested in trying the consulting role in the intersection of business, media, and politics, for its trainee program. During the one-year program, participants are given the opportunity to work with strategic communication for companies in various industries.
