Diplomat is proud to act as communications advisor to SAS, Scandinavia’s leading airline, in the company’s restructuring proceedings. On Tuesday, SAS reached a major milestone in the process, as the U.S. court approved SAS’ chapter 11 plan. Through its chapter 11 process, SAS has secured a total investment of USD 1.2 billion in exit financing from Castlelake, Air France-KLM and Lind Invest, together with the Danish state. The company has also successfully reconfigured its aircraft fleet. The Diplomat team is led by Klas Landelius and Malin Olsson.
