David Ibison new Senior Advisor at Diplomat Communications

On 18 September 2020, David Ibison joins Diplomat Communications as Senior Advisor. Before entering his new role, David was Senior Vice President Communications at Volvo Cars. Before that he worked for more than twenty years as a business journalist. Eleven years at Financial Times in London, Tokyo, and Stockholm, and before that at South China Morning Post in Hong Kong.

David Ibison has long experience from communications issues and international business media. Before entering his new role at Diplomat Communications, he held a position as a Senior Vice President Communications at Volvo Cars. Prior to that, he was a partner at the communications agency Kreab for several years. David, furthermore, has more than twenty years of experience as a business journalist at South China Morning Post in Hong Kong and at Financial Times in London, Tokyo, and Stockholm where he was covered the Nordics and Baltics. David holds a B.A. in History of Ideas and a M.Sc. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of London.
